Completed this past summer (2009).This was drawn from a photograph I took when I was visiting relatives in a poor village area of Guangzhou, China this past summer. That day I was confronted with poverty that was so real since they were my family, my blood. It was such a strong contrast with my life.
I kind of like how it turned out haha. It had been a long time since I did any realistic color pencil (or anything realistic for that matter baha).
