hope this helps
make yr lightning bolts longer (like 1/3 to half the page) - thicker at the top (like a upside down tree) and more spread out
everything withen 10 square miles of each bolt should be lit up like a xmas tree
so with no lightining at the front of the perspective the front should be darker
but hey what do i know - your art is amazing

Normally the one would put some sort of dare-devil in this setting. With flying through the rain, with lightnings and all... or someone totally lost.
But You went out of Your way, to gave her most innocent, yet in-control expression I've seen
I normally would be scared for her... she is so sweet, and cute in such a dangerous environment... but somehow I can just tell that she is such a good flier that the weather should be afraid of her, and not another way around... whatever that means

Her talent is creating storms, so she is in her element in one, so to speak. She has the unique ability to make multicolored lightning. She makes storms at night like a fireworks display, it's like an art form to her. This piece captures it all so perfectly, I love it.

If that's the idea behind her... well, I'm even more impressed with Aqua's interpretation
I mean... everything You just said is conveyed so accurately with this drawing.
Also Your OC seems to be very interesting and I have to say, I like the idea of turning making storms into an art... it sounds beautiful
