Trace you way in the crowd and project all your wishes,
Draw your own image and frame your desire and fears,
Compose your tastes, friends, studies, sexuality and dreams,
Paint your world, destroy it then build another less perfect,
Because, coming to life, you are a rising masterpiece,
You are a new color and the echo of the whole of humanity.

Painting done for Christophe and Nadège and Him, who will come to life in february 2012.

Mais je sais qu'en venant au monde, plus que jamais,

Colorer la vie d'un homme et d'une femme, et de beaucoup d'autres,
Barbouiller tes premiers mots et gribouiller ton monde,
Esquisser tes premiers pas et laisser ton empreinte sur Terre,
Tracer ta voie dans la foule et projeter tes souhaits,
Dessiner ta propre image, cadrer tes désirs et tes peurs
Composer tes goûts, amis, études, sexualité et rêves,
Peindre ton univers, le détruire puis le reconstruire moins parfait,
Parce que, en venant à la vie, tu es un chef d'oeuvre qui s'élève,
Tu es une nouvelle couleur et l'écho de l'humanité toute entière.
