‘Portrait of Tara’ This was a commissioned work, an ambitious one in which the subject wanted to be portrayed in surrealist painting style, as a Tibetan Buddhist Deity and photo realistically, all in all a bit of a tall order. As it turned out the finished work inspired me to plan a series of pieces in this same hybrid of genres which will be exhibited on the virtual walls of my Deviant Art Gallery.
