AU update! my sister's character, Altair, is now officially part of the Nocturne AU as well! I'll do my best to briefly explain where he fits into all of this :0

So, like Melvin, Altair was taken by the scientists at ASC (Arcadia Science Center) and used as a subject for experimentation. Since he was originally from Mars, his mere existence sparked intrigue among the scientists. However, unlike Melvin, they chose to integrate Altair into Project Nocturne; testing out the same VR technology on him that they were using on Jimmy.

Altair's simulation is separate from Jimmy's, and takes place entirely on Mars. The scientists erased his memories and replaced them with new ones via the simulation, and have figured out ways to seamlessly pull him in and out of the virtual world for further testing/experiments without him even knowing the difference between what's virtual and real.

Once Jimmy manages to crash his own simulation, it also causes damage to Altair's virtual world as well (since all of it runs on the same server). The two end up crossing paths virtually, and Altair connects with Jimmy in Retroville in order to try and help him break out of that virtual world once more, since the scientists managed to get the program up and running again after that initial system crash.

Jimmy and Altair grow to be close friends in the virtual world within that time. While that's happening, Melvin is planning on breaking out - but since Jimmy couldn't stand the thought of leaving Altair behind in the lab, he convinces Melvin to take Altair with them and the three of them escape together (along with some extra help). ;o;

Some other stuff happens after that point but I don't have time to really get into that right now, haha. I just wanted to be able to share Altair's involvement in this AU, and hopefully everything still makes sense! I'm really trying my best to explain everything in a coherent manner, lol.

It's honestly really cool to work on this, because it's pretty much a three-way collab with myself, SaraPlutonium , and FeelzGremlin at this point - since their OCs are heavily involved, and all ;o;; hopefully I'll have more to share at some point, but I hope y'all enjoy what I have so far! :'0
