Some time, plus some new materials - this silk, although pretty, gave me a horror to work with...

Oh, I really wouldn't call myself a professional maker! It's just a hobby really - I usually make no money on my kanzashi, which makes it go into "hobby"
I can't tell what are your kanzashi like - if you uploaded some I'd help with some quirks

This is so beautiful! The colours, the craftsmanship, everything is perfect! I think it will look beautiful with your houmongi. The light colours will pick up some of the lighter tones in the yuzen work. Great job!
