So you remember how Gablade, Kanohi and I were starting a Wedlocke not too long ago? Well I wanted to post a little update on my OTP and boss Pokemon Gui Boratto the Stantler. (named all of my Pokemon according to bands I listen to)

So a little history: when I first got the Togepi egg, I paired it up with a male Bellsprout and reasoned that whatever gender the Togepi came as, this was still going to be a Wedlocke ship. So of course, the Togepi hatched as male and I kind of toted along a token homo couple. Well unfortunately, the Bellsprout (and later Weepingbell) Baths met his match one day while battling a trainer's Cloyster. That Aurora Beam was just too much.

Before that, I had caught my greatest wild Pokemon enemy before Ecruteak City: a Stantler. These bad boys not only have amazing speed and attack for lower leveled Pokemon (lvl. 15), but they come with the most annoying move set of Hypnosis, Leer, Stomp, and Confuse Ray. The deer was so dangerous that I simply had to one day harness his powers! Even when I first caught Gui, I knew off the bat that he was a virile and respected Pokemon.

Then when Baths was sadly killed, I gave Gui as a replacement to ease the pain of my serious Togetic's loss. And boy was that the best team choice I've ever made.

Gui is a boss! He can OHKO almost anything with his stomp (powered up by either a muscle band or silk scarf) and he single handed (hoofed?)-ly took out Pryce's Ice gym. (hence the baby seel under his hooves )

And even better, he's survived past the Elite Four and through half of the Kanto Gym Leaders. While my Dewgong proved herself the powerhouse of the Elite Four disposal force, Gui is still my favorite of the team. And now that Aphex Twin the Togekiss is fully evolved, I wanted to draw the pair

My greatest opponent in the wild thus far has been a Ditto transforming as Gui, he's just that epic
