Description My first wallpaper submission, just a simple daisy with plenty of room for icons etc. The 1920x1080 pixel version is available for free download for personal and non-commercial use as a desktop wallpaper/background image etc. Simply press the 'Download Image' link to the right of this description.

I'm also submitting my first piece of Premium Content with this wallpaper for 50 points.
All Premium Content included is for personal and non-commercial use as a desktop wallpaper/background image etc, a learning resource, or for reference.

In the Premium Content .zip file you will find the following:

• 24 Wallpaper sizes, each uniquely cropped for consistent composition where possible.
• The original, completely unedited photograph (3008x2000pixels 300dpi)
• Fully edited photograph, uncropped
• The layered .psd file of the fully edited photograph, uncropped.
• A detailed step by step beginners guide to creating the final version of the image starting from the original photograph

Important things to note about this pack before buying:
• The included .psd file was saved in Adobe Photoshop CS6 with 'Maximise Compatibility'. I can not guarantee this file will open as intended in older versions of Photoshop or alternative software such as GIMP/Painter etc.
• The step by step guide is intended for beginners and probably will not offer anything ‘new’ to experienced Photoshop users or people familiar with photograph editing.
• The step by step guide is written for use with Adobe Photoshop CS6. I can not guarantee other versions of Photoshop will have the same layout, features or capabilities to reproduce these steps exactly, nor can I guarantee that the guide will be easily translatable to other software such as GIMP etc - though it should point you in the right general direction to get similar results as all adjustments made are detailed.

An image showing the actual contents of the zip file, including available wallpaper sizes and the step by step guide length and presentation style can be seen here:

Beautiful! I love the contrast of the daisy and the sky. Wonderful use of lighting, as well.

Simplicity is the perfect title for this photograph because that's truly what it is. For some reason, I usually dislike daisies, but you have captured the beauty of the flower perfectly here. The way you brought out the contrast and brightness really let it shine, and I like the way the petals took center stage against the blue sky.

This reminded me of a bright, spring day. It was pretty but without the bells and whistles. You didn't bog it down with millions of flowers in bloom, you kept it simple. And sometimes that's the best thing to do. It definitely worked here!

This is such a perfect wallpaper. Good luck! I hope many people purchase it.

Thank you, I've tried a few times to get a decent photograph of a daisy against a solid blue sky. Having a day with no clouds, then finding one that has a full set of undamaged petals that you can actually get in a position to look up at from is pretty challenging!

I like my wallpapers simple, with plenty of open space so icons don't get lost in background detail, so this just seemed to work out in that sense. Thanks for the comment
