Description
Another Pepper to be added to my collection. A more watercolour style approach. I really like the translucency of this.
I've also included a process of this as many of you requested. It is not exactly a tutorial, but it will show you how I create a painting from scratch.

Done in Painter 8, 3 hours, no reference.

have you tinted the orignal pencil sketch? it has a gorgeous sepia sheen to it.
so - oaky bear with me here, i want to be a sponge towards learning - here you used an almost conrasting/opposite coloru for the deep shading on her hair (orange and purple). it looks great, very realistic. would you consider this a general rule for doing realistic shading, or was it just for this piece?
