Description Made with frostingΒ

"When one of them begins to meow whatever they have to say, cover your ears and close your mind. Illussionists and telepaths are one thing, but these? They will take control of your thoughts faster than you expect and by the time you realise it, it is too late."
- Laszlo, Techtronian GeneralΒ

"Welcome before my forge, to a world of reclamation, where even the most wicked and pathetic of beings may serve a greater purpose. Countless souls toil away at the great forges and pour their very life into every single trinket or machine until it becomes perfected, and from this sacrifice of life here, from beyond the void we will call forth a great work of being. From Destruction, comes Creation."
- Kalir Ur, Juvali Sorcerer-King

The Juvali, short for Ju'Val Tha'lassar, represent a wider sub-genus of the Vargul family, consisting of a wider array of felinids that seemingly can be traced back to a single common ancestor. To some extent, one could argue they are on the base one of the most diverse types of Vargul, ranging from the "domestic" and often plump Talant to the muscular and leonine Larion. What however can be said to properly separate them from the rest of the Vargul is their natural psionic affinity and ability to make use of the Celestial Winds for their own needs, all their tools and technologies having been once made and powered from a forced power point known as the Vortex, kept contained within their great city of Kandrakar. At some point, from this Vortex emerged the so-called "Sorcerer-Kings from Beyond the Void" - particulary powerful presumed juvali mages that created their own mandate of might and took to ruling whatever lands and city-states they could manage to grab. And just as their powers helped build and shape the land, so it was the Sorcerer-Kings that brought about its downfall with their wars of pettyness and abuse of power.
Not many speak of the Juvali nowadays. They rarely make any big moves, and usually they need to be sought out after within their pompus pallaces and villas, and those who do rarely get in full what they want.Β
