2017, mechanical pencils on bristol paper 11"x13.5"I had to selectively remove some of the bones in the legs to get them to fit into place and I feel like the skull is probably a bit too big for the body but I was more trying to draw the anatomy of a rocking horse more so than the actual anatomy of a horse so many of the bones are not anatomically proportional to one another.

Thanks, I have been exploring themes of birth/childhood and death, and while I do like gory/horrifying art, i have been trying to go for something a little more emotive and maybe even a little more on the whimsical side that will kind of stick with people when they see it.
