Wow, those colors are so beautiful- is that fire in the background? It's all I see. It adds a lot of emotional value to this picture- a sadness and sense of impending doom for those little flowers in the front. Maybe this isn't what you intended and this is just what I see, but either way this is a very nice painting- I love paintings that can make me feel something.

The truth is I had no plans for the background, I just added colors and many people interpret it as flames or fire

I have never used intense Yellow on my works before, it was my 1st time
And having a turquoiseΒ glaze was a daring decision to make when the work was done
With this work I gained very different experience on colors : P

I don't really know how to put it into words but I'll give it a try...so, for me, it has something unusual and unsettling in this painting. You created an atmophere that makes me uncomfortable and draws me in at the same time. As if the meadow full of flowers would be ablaze on a spring/summer afternoon and you can't help it, you can't move your legs, just keep staring at the flames. That's the appeal of the picture to me...am I making sense here? xD
