Can't underestimate these little rodents! My family used to have a chinchilla, got to over 20 years old, was older than me at the time.
Haven't had luck with productivity these last weeks. Con season and not being at my home setup adding to it.
Wanted to at least make something and this was from one of the sketches that ended up happening today.
Tho I really wanted to start a much bigger more detailed and smoother piece, but I didn't feel this one was the best fit for that. So just a little quick painting, which is still useful regardless.

Ha! Love it! I have a chinnie right now named Ernie who's over 11 years old. He's the toughest little guy I've ever met - been through a lot, but keeps pulling through and staying spunky against all odds. He's also incredibly smart and funny and affectionate. Chins are such wonderful pets. <3
