Heddal Stave church paintingToday i have finished my 1 week painting marathon in the Tuven center. I did this painting from scratch the past week in front of the whole town. It was so incredibly nice meeting hundreds and hundreds of people
Many of them traveled there just to see me paint - such a honor It was also nice to get real life likes for a change hehe and meet people of all ages
This finished painting will be hanging in Tuven center on the biggest wall for everyone to see in the future as a permanent piece The church is a triple nave stave church and is Norway's largest stave church. It was constructed at the beginning of the 13th century. Its a a massive tourist attraction here , and this painting ( prints ) will be sold as post cards on the church tourist stand
Once again thank you all for following my process
now im giving my hands/ wrists a well deserved Easter break ps. i worked 5 extra hours on this painting after the pic was taken - so its a bit more refined and detailed - but i dont think you would notice a huge difference on the pic , you need to get up close to see it

I've never seen a cloud formation like that before, with zero divergence in the vector field. But then, I'm not really a cirrus artist.

Oh wow. That is a big deal! It's nice everyone will be able to see it as a painting and in person, and get postcards of it. I love the clouds and blue sky behind the church, and the lovely landscape all around it. The colors look really nice together, and the way you painted the clouds made them look kind of like a tower or a staircase.

So after a masterpiece like this how are your wrists holding up. I read on a WIP that your extensive history of drawing has caused you some discomfort, hope all will ease up and you'll be back to your canvases, and other works straight away.
