Continuing on the military theme, trying to convey haste and motion, and go for a grittier rather than a smooth and refined feel.

There's a feeling of instability here, the upward movement of ascent contrasting against the angle of terrain; like the earth shifting, bits of earth flying out from under your feet. Some metaphor happening here? Also lots of tension, just what's over that rise. Well done.
