A picture I did with marker.

Rin, a strange girl living out on the streets who sells charcoal sketches and street performing ballet dances to make ends meet. This was not proving to be very lucrative as most did not care for her sketches of abominable everyday acts she witnessed from the streets she walked. Car crashes, roadkill, muggings, domestic abuse etc...very macabre. When drawing a client, she gave an astounding attention to detail, though this was often met with criticism that she captures too much detail, excessive hairs, moles, acne and such.

At one point she did not seem to sell much and it seemed like her art trade was going nowhere, a stranger introducing himself as called to her asking for a pretty picture. Rin agrees with the charge of $5. When she returned with a picture of a dead pidgeon infested with maggots and flies she found on the street, her pleased and excited patron dropped several bills in her hand. The new patron asks for yet another and pays in advance more than he previously paid. Rin begins buying more art supplies to keep up with new demand. Going from charcoals to colored pencils and pastels to buying canvas and paint. As his patronage continues his requests become more extreme and pays excessively beyond her asking price.
