We do. I've always wondered whether the body suits the Jaguars wore were genuine jaguar pelt or something painted to look like it. Jaguar's aren't the most common animals out there.

In that time, they were.
But as long as I know, they wouldn't use it's pelt since it was kind of a sin to kill a jaguar for they were gods. The must they'd do was to collect the skull, fangs and claws from an already dead one. They's use them in their headdresses as a sign of power.

It was! Every mesoamerican kid would be trained in the arts of war, though only a few would be Jaguar or Eagle warrior. It's not certain if the jaguar warriors were inferior to the eagle ones, but never the least they were elite warriors.
