This is a digital work but sort of "handmade" as I placed each circle individually on a black background.
Each circle is made of a single color and a single tone (see the work in progress, below).
It took me quite a long time to finish the whole portrait...
I really like Lady Gaga's personality and imago.

This is very outstanding and beautiful. I love how some of the dots are arranged to get her face features. I especially love how realistic this looks. You sir, have worked very hard to create something so detailed and original. I do see that some dots are bigger than some of the small ones, and they are both in the same group. This appears noticeable to me, but the beauty of this is just breathtaking. My favorite part of this is the eyes. They look so real and beautiful at the same time. Again, really nice work. I love it a lot!

This is simply stunning. The detail and effort put into this artwork is just immense and I applaud you for your patience. The fact that each circle is a different tone just takes your breath away. The background is fitting, but I think you could have done a little more with it, that being said, every other aspect of the artwork is beautiful, and I like the way you captured her facial features and the tones in her skin! My eye was immediately attracted by the unequal details that are rendered by your work. Eyes and mouth are very precisely painted whereas the hair is more simplistic. Thus, I though first that it was a photo-manipulation. This aesthetic is very pleasant.
That's why I almost maxed the originality stars.
Technically speaking, your black background gives a contrast, but I don't understand what's his purpose in your image. Is it just to fill the holes ? If so, that's a little sad, maybe it would have been an occasion to create more.
Last thing, if I love the small disks between bigger ones, It seems to me that's a small inconsistency to build the shoulder with this relief. Maybe It would have been better to use it elsewhere to avoid this feeling I had. (but the relief itself works very well, I think that's the second thing that attracted my eyes, just after the details inequality)
To conclude; I love the idea, even if I can see some details in the realization : Great job !

I admire your art , Its visual / creative / and it expresses you. I like your shades and the texture you used for this piece of art , I'm not sure about the the background , it does not seem to fit , or "blend" in with the picture , but on the other hand it makes your focus point stand out. What really caught my eye , was her lips and her eyes , they stand out really well , and the colors are really matched up , and may I say " I'm quite the Lady GaGa fan. I enjoy your creativity and art , keep p the good work.

With these pointillist-style images, have you ever experimented with variations of them using Photoshop features such as Emboss?Β I just tried loading up one of your images, masked out the background color and then used the emboss / bevel layer features to make each circle seem 3-dimensional and I found it to be an interesting effect.Β I realize that not every artist likes to tinker the way I do so I hope I'm not offending by suggesting this, your existing images are plenty astounding...Β

Looks really interesting but I can't figure out any technique to come up with this... I mean you start with small circles first and change the color and size each time you paint a new one? That must be a nightmare.
