The tree ultimately does win. We all "feed the tree" in the end. I also did a drawing about it. You're drawing is very well done. I love the concept and the DETAILS are very well done. The anatomy is superb!(a word I rarely use,lol) Great job!

My music player is on shuffle, and not three seconds after I clicked this, Lullaby came on, and this goes very well with the song.
Is she merging with the tree, or breaking away from it? The splintering suggests breaking away, but you never know, y'know?

As for the merging or breaking with the tree, it's really both...the tree is trying to suck her in and she's trying to free herself from it. Ultimately, I imagine the tree will win.

I love this. I really like how it's not clear whether she is trying to break away from the tree or if the tree is bringing her in. She looks so hopeless, like she's giving up. You have definite talent.

the detail in this is amazing! i love that in some places you crossed hatched while in others just did single lines, which makes things look deeper in view. Great Work
