now isthe quiet glow
of fireplace embers,
the whisper of leaves
beneath our shoes,
and trees that mimic
a sunset sky.
now is
a low ember
toasting the air
into earthtones
in this glorious burnt sienna
of our lives,
in the genesis of our autumn.

Yes I did, good observation - especially considering that it is the same spot but not the same stairs. These are on the side of where the other one was shot.
I have some more recent shots of that big hill. I've been taking a lot of pictures of that park because I knew I was moving away and there is a lot of sentimental value to that place. It's a huge park...5 blocks in any direction. I've lived one block away from it for 14 years.
The happy ending to this story is, the condo I just leased which is a mile away from where I am now...has a front door that basically steps out into this park!
