I was about to complain about a riot shotgun using as pump, but then I saw you said "sand bag ammunition" and immediately recalled how such ammunition does not create enough carbon gas pressure to cycle a normal gas-operated bolt. Hence, despite mentioning all this, (I love flaunting my gun knowledge TBH) I approve.
HOWEVER...
Seven rounds in THAT short cylinder? Really? That's 4-5 rounds at best, with one in the chamber being 5-6 rounds. C'mon now.
Did a test. I tested the ejection port against the cylinder size. That's a 4 round cylinder, the fifth being in the chamber.
Don't get me wrong, I love the picture. I approve of this design. But the round count is simply wrong.

I agree with your criticism of the magazine capacity, especially considering it is a 9 gauge. My first look drew me towards the stock, however due to the thumb insert (which is optimal and a cool idea); although a serious weak point when firing such a large shell and when using as a bludgeon. This gun wouldn't be robust enough for serious prolonged usage and doesn't feature any areas for attachments. Due to the large shell it also couldn't be used as a sawed off, before a security force throws their shipment in the garbage.

9 ga.? Yow, hang on when you pull the trigger. I think it'd look good with a folding stock (ala a SPAS-12 or Mossberg 500)
