I find myself thinking I'll give up halfway through. There's this ugly little dog I'm working on right now, and after about twenty minutes, I was ready to throw it in the bin. But experience has taught me that if I keep going, I'm usually more pleased with the result than I think I'm going to be. He's going to be just fine. I'll try to post him over the next few days.

I happen to have a Peke! (That's okay, no offense taken - he's pretty snotty). HIs name is Mojo Jojo, so it's interesting that we named our pets after cartoon characters! I'll have to post my painting of Mojo pretty soon!

I LOVE westies! I have a painting of one around here somewhere. But they're REALLy hard to paint!
I am like, the biggest PPG fan there is. I have the sheet-set and comforter, curtains, backpack, videos...of course, it took me a while to find a spouse who liked them as well!

Westies are hard to paint because they're usually solid white. Essetially, I have to paint just the shadows and suggest fur. It's a tough job! Any white dog, or any black dog, for that matter, is pretty difficult to paint.
I actually special-ordered the comforter for a queen-sized bed. This all started back when my daughter was really young - I made sure we had matching rooms! If she had a Sailor Moon sheet set, I had a Sailor Moon sheet set. The PPG ones are still my favourites, though. It's MY bedroom, so I figure I can have cartoon bedding if I want.
I'm still anxiously waiting for the Gorillaz comforters to come out...

Back when she was really little, she was actually a pretty tidy kid. I was really sick a lot of the time, so we didn't have a lot of money for a big place, so we really had to keep it neat! She was my joy, so I really wanted to try to do little things like that that she'd like!

-nods- its understandable, small houses and apartments tend to become untidy really quick with the limited space, we never had cool bedsheets, but we had everything we needed and that was the important part!
