This is my painting for the upcoming art show at my school. It looks so much better in real life x.x I was just inspired by the radio, and how it's always there for me when I'm working on art in my room. Music is great, but when I hear it on the radio, it feels more alive, ya know? (especially if you're listening to club music live) It's energizing.The moment I heard of the word "radio DJ" I just had to draw this. Originally it was a shirt design idea, but I decided to turn it into a painting since the commissioner was unsure on wanting the idea. I was anxious lol. What do you guys think? Edit: Now scanned~! I also darkened the background with an ink wash. Unfortunately you can't see the entire piece, because it was a bit too big for my scanner, but the background is only a few more colored boxes anyways. Overall it's a better picture.

i think it was for AP govt, but now that that's done...i have a freakinn like 60 page hamlet packet to read/take notes on...this packet makes me feel so sorry for trees that i dont wanna use extra paper to take notes lol

hmm i still needa read hamlet...dude i have this hamlet drawing idea but i can only do it with paint,markers and a canvas .___. I needs me some paint..hmm..too bad we're all snowed in OwO;i went outside a few hrs ago and it was like Antarctica (although i still wanted to roll around in the soft snow) haha sorry for getting off topic

It's very interesting, but I guess you needa have a taste for it (because the english is weird) for it to be fun. For someone who hates reading, I find it interesting 8D
but how am I gonna save up for a scanner if i buy more art supplies D,: ? Maybe I'll try to get some from the art room =w= my old sub let me take paint, but who knows what my real teacher will say~!@___@;; (Taking paint is only for IB art students, but I'm only an Art 2 student...>w> my sub let me have some paint anyways)
