Description
Night sky
One night the sky was the color of fire and ice
The wind was howling out, something not very nice
Out on the balcony the cat did wonder
To look at the dead man tree way over yonder
Swinging in the midnight breeze
Was a body among the dying leaves
The moon was playing hide and seek, with the storm
Making travelers to wish, they were home safe and warm
The candle’s light did flicker across my bare feet
As I stand here waiting my Sugar Sweet
