Putting a little bit of myself into a world that isn't mine. The ability to create anything I want with words inspires me to write.

Eh, writing doesn't always relieve stress. I prefer it for the element of fantasy and the freedom granted by a pen and paper or a keyboard. Honestly, there are times when I've even stressed about my writing because I was unsatisfied with an ending or didn't think others would like it.

drawing / writing is about expressing not impressing
if one starts to scrutinize their work then instead of joy they'll feel more stressed about it

I know. It's just that when comments are only from a deviant or two, you never really know if you improved or not. And when your deviations don't draw comments, it makes you wonder if they deserved them.
