Well spent indeed. I really like the less finished ones, they have tons of energy and they show how much ingrained/intuitive knowledge and understanding of the human body you have.

Thank you for this nice comment and fave Marianna. I agree with you on how it is difficult to maintain the level of energy and motion the more 'finished' a piece is. The human body is so amazing, leaving aside the wonder of how all our parts work to keep us alive and functioning, everyone's shapes are different,interesting,and connected to our persona. Barrie

Beautiful work Barrie! How does watercolor pencil washes compare to ink washes?

Thanks for the note Steve. Ink washes are typically more saturated and the kines are sharper - but, watercolor pencils are easy to always have with you, especially if one also totes one of the Kurataki self-contained water brushes.
