wait, what? there is a plant called "cosmos"? oh well. apparently there is.
it's just that, for all this time since i read your journal entry, i was thinking you were going to draw on a topic of physical cosmos. you know, the universe - galaxies, stars and stuff. i thought - "wow, that's a bold and such an unusual topic for traditional japanese art!". silly me. such a blunder.

Maybe "cosmos" is a latin name and there is more common English one?.. actually, maybe the real cosmos would be an interesting subject to paint) *better late than never #2*
