More and more species are dying out
It's a sad sight

There's always an upside to everything though.
Either
A.) The species is thriving in secret.
B.) A new species will fill the niche of the previous organism.
Or
C.) It will grow and prosper for centuries to come if more people start caring

Nothing lasts forever; but nothing truly goes extinct either.

Sure, dinosaurs aren't obviously around anymore; but their relatives and descendents are.
[Pretty much all known birds and crocodiles.]

I know what you're saying. Some species were thought to be extinct for millions of years until they were recently discovered alive. I know a popular example are the coelacanths.

Those fish look like they're dead inside

Yeah, they really do. But I remember seeing Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire had coelocanths in a aquarium. But they are also related to lungfish since they are the only lobe finned fishes.
