Iowa's a great place to grow up, but there's not a wide variety here, especially when it comes to places to photograph. I believe 90% of my gallery consists of photos from this one reserve. I can't wait to leave for college in a year.

the way the plants grow on the cliff looks so cool. It makes great contrast! It looks great in black and white.

The plants really get in the way when you're climbing up the backside, though. I have tiny scars on my legs from 'em.
