It's a spring day. Kim and Ron have given the Sloth a good wash. Kim waits for Ron to return with the picnic basket. They are heading out for a little private time. Kim is relaxed in a t-shirt and jeans as she waits for him to return.I want to dedicate this one to a good friend for his birthday.

I love the Sloth mk2's integrated windshield/sun top; it makes me think of a jet fighter or something else really high-performance. There is also just a hint of Tron lightcycle about it too.
A nice job on a ~20 years old Kim, BTW. I'm sure that Ron appreciates the effort.

I use Photoshop 7. That is the old version not the Photoshop 7 Elements that is out now. It has some wonderful features that some of the others do not. I love it.

as a newly divorced guy, I would first remind her that I'm old enough to be her father--and then I would have to excuse myself and go plunge my fully clothed self under an ice cold shower

It's not too hard. I learned a simple, "ok, not so simple" way to do shading. It just takes a little time and practice. I checked out some tutorials here at DA on shading.

Ehh, I've been drawing since I was in my early teens (which was "a few" decades ago)...could never get the hang of it, so I've learned to compensate with a lot of contrasting and sometimes exaggerated shadowing.
