The details you put on the whiskers amaze me. You even have them sticking out a bit like cats do help detect things in their surroundings. It's little things like that which can really make a difference.

My boyfriend, and I've always wanted to travel around so that was an excellent excuse ^^. Don't know how long we'll stay yet but for now I'm just enjoying my time here and trying to learn the language :3.

I love the way you draw fur, it looks so soft and beautiful. The lighting and atmosphere are so brilliant. Do you have any tips on getting better at shading and lighting or any studies that help you?

Thank you very much! I'd recommend doing studies from movie stills, as they tend to have their lights staged very well.
For basic shading/lighting, I'd recommend the book "Successful Drawing" by Andrew Loomis and drawing basic geometric shapes under different light settings. Also, drawing from life.
