Description I always liked the idea of the hero and the villain playing some sort of game of wits and chance with high stakes i.e chess, poker, something of that sort...

That Lady Gaga song comes to mind...Poker Face? I wondered what Russian Roulette was when I first heard it, looking it up it's quite a scary thing to play.

Anywho, here is more of Dr. Lecter and Will Graham. Enjoy!

I wish I could see them playing cards too or even more chess!

As always your art moves me, it contains a great sensitivity!

Did you think about having an exhibition of your watercolors?   Or maybe it has already been done? Cause they really would deserve it!

Thank you! I have a few more Hannibal sketches coming up but I'll have to re-watch a bit of the series again to continue making art as I'll losing the 'essence' of the characters. xD You know how you have to sort of get into the mind of them and the atmosphere of a book/movie/show?

This summer I did a few different exhibits that went pretty well, it was my first time being part of an art show outside of school/university so it was a pretty interesting experience. I met some really amazing people, epsically this one man who did these steam-punk style sculptures in beautiful detail. I'm a big fan of marionettes and things of that sort...I used to make them years ago but lately its been mostly watercolour and acrylic.

OH GREAT! A pity I couldn't be there, Canada is so far lol I'm living in Paris France hehe

BTW I heard Hannibal was mainly filmed in your country, in Toronto! I'd like to visit Canada one day but I need a passport first, lol, never had one yet

Lucky you living in Paris!

When I heard that Hannibal was being filmed in Toronto I was so excited! I used to live in Toronto, now that my family moved to a quieter place I quite miss it. It seems like the place where everything is happening, the youthful excitement, like the New York of Canada. I'm thinking of going back once I finish university if I'm too chicken to go to a different country (I love to travel but am sometimes nervous to go on my own). My dream is to move to Italy one day since it is the ancient center of art and study the works of the masters. I just got back from a trip there and it was the most beautiful place, like going back in time (along with a swarm of tourists!).

Yes Paris is an interesting city but it's also dirty and people aren't really nice most of the time

But I must admit about arts, it's the right place to be, just like in Italy I suppose.

You know when I was younger I worked at the Louvre Museum as an office employee for a bit more than 1 year. I really loved it. Working surrounded by beauty is always awsome.

I hope you'll be able to live in Italy one day! You're still young, you got all your life in front of you, so plenty of good things to come.

For me it's a too late now

That's a shame I visited Paris with my family once but it was mostly fast tracking through all the major historical sites and art galleries, it was difficult for me to get a sound impression of the city and I didn't really meet anyone there. I wish I got to spend more time to look at the artwork. What are the people like in Paris?

It's so hard to choose a career, I used to think that my dream job would be to become an artist but when I think about it doing it commercially might really hinder creativity because at least on a subconscious level I may always be tailoring to a certain audience if my work is what would put food on the table. It would stop being as personal in a way and a lot more stressful maybe? But on the other hand if I do something 'practical' as career I may not get to spend much time on what's important and developing my skills. I went for accounting, hoping that the workload would not be as draining i.e staying at work after hours etc.

It's never too late, people change their careers all the time these days, at any age. It's never too late to follow your dream, even if you have to do that within certain constraints i.e balancing making a living with what you truly enjoy doing. You can always make time for what's important, and if that time is limited it would make you value it more and put your very best into your work. I often find that when I have weeks off from university I imagine myself being super productive in terms of making artwork but because I feel I have so much time I end up wasting a lot of it or feeling intimidated by it. So pressure can be a good thing.

It's never too late. This may sound funny but I'm looking forward to retiring, I feel like that is when life starts and you're free from your responsibilities (if you have savings and your health is fairly good). I'm looking forward to traveling the world then...though it's kind of bittersweet that the prime of people's lives may often be spent at deary jobs they dislike and when they're beginning to shrivel they finally begin to live their dreams. You have to try and manage both simultaneously perhaps (if you're not a risk taker), what is important to you and what you have to do to make a dependable living.

People are complete morons over here lol Plus now we are invaded by kind of "parasites" (people not bugs lol) if you now what I mean hehe

Well you know I give me one more year then if nothing good has happened I my life, I might envisage leaving this fucking world for good... I'm really tired of everything

Don't do that I know how you feel, sometimes life becomes like a dark cloud over you but if the troubles do not go away on their own there is still a lot you can do. You can move away from the negative things either by changing the situation or your perspective about it. During my trip I had been reading the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius, an Roman emperor and philosopher, one of his teachings is that the harm others do to us exists in our mind, our perception. In reality the emotional response we have to their actions brings us more pain than the actual action. If someone harms you or insults you by their words or actions your honor is not harmed or taken away but instead theirs is harmed. If you look closer at their motivation for their acts you will see that they had done so out of a weakness of their own. All you can do is teach them of their error or if it is not possible, distance yourself from their influence. Whether or not you become angry with them will make no difference to them, with the exception of those who care for you and had acted wrongly in a moment of weakness. I hope these words are of some help, remember that your life is always in your own hands. It is not something hanging in the wind of outside influences, your perception of yourself and the actions of others shapes it ultimately. It is an imperfect world but by approaching it philosophically you may find sympathy for those who have harmed you and strength in yourself. If life appears dull and bleak reach out for the things of beauty that give you joy, I see that you are an artistic person and art has served to give direction to many people throughout history. No matter how loathsome your situation may be you can come home and create beautiful things and express yourself and share it with like-minded people, you may discover new things each day, you can enter new worlds through books and poems and films, you will surely meet interesting people along the way and their long absence will make you cherish them all the more. If it were not for the negative aspects the beauty we see and good that falls on us would not touch as as strongly as it does, just think of the wealthy who have so much yet still feel depression yet the poor who would delight at the most trivial things that we take for granted. It is the contrast of having both positive and negative aspects in our life that makes us truly appreciate the positive. Please cast away those thoughts, your life is the most intricate and valuable gift that you have. It is shorter than you think and will be over soon regardless of what you do, why not see it to the end? One day it will surprise you with something wonderful.
