We actually have a manga about cheating planned out, but we are afraid no publisher would want to publish it lest they teach the kids how to be naughty

well i think that a manga like that would sell because it's near to the kids' world you know...especially if you show ways to cheat it will become best-seller

That's the idea, to showcase different ways to cheat people haven't even dreamed of. Though I wonder why there is no manga like that still published... that's the reason we fear nobody wants to publish it.

it doesnot hurt to try!!maybe nobody has thought of that.there arenot any manga like "a pillow wants to conquer the world and an evil girl wants to save it" as well.but you know i find it amusing i really like it...that's why you should give "cheating" a chance

I know what you mean, the only problem would be that it'd be hard for us to sustain a series like the cheating manga without any support (and we really don't like people who go around begging people for donations and stuff) so it will only be possible if a publisher likes it. In any case, we are really happy you enjoyed this one

why donot you begin by having a newspaper or a magazine publish it? if you do that and people ask for more i am sure that a publisher will like to assist you!.what i like about this one is that after i read one page i have this feeling of pleasure.i mean even if i am sad it makes me feel happy.i think that's a plus!!the writer is a capable one.you know how to creat jokes without them being modest.i love the originality

The newspapers we know don't publish manga, do those in Greece do that?

no unfortunately not.they donot publish mangas but they have as an extra other comics.for example right now a newspaper have as an extra luky luke.i think they donot have mangas as an extra because noone has even try to write a manga in greek language.well as i see it in the following years they will have something ike this with the newspapers because more and more people are reading them.as i said before it doesnot hurt to try.you can present it as a classic comic (i mean having it read the normal way left to right).i donot believe that if it gets the newspaper more money they will reject you.

We don't have that here in Bulgaria and Iro told me they don't have it in Romania too... All we have are some caricatures and sad as it is, some sex comics every Sunday. Last year (I think) a Greek manga won the biggest award for non-Japanese manga btw, so I guess some people do make that. They probably just seek publication elsewhere though, this particular art isn't really popular on the Balkans I guess.
The industry is pretty bad right now but I too think that sooner or later manga will be becoming just as popular as comics. I think the biggest problem is that manga is aimed at an older audience in general, while there are a lot of comics for kids. Who knows though... And yes, if the publisher wants to invert the reading order we can do that easily, no problem.
And yes, you are generally right, if they benefit from it why not

you're right some people may be doing it but i havenot heard of any trying to publish sth in Greece...our newspapers sometimes publish disney's comic mickey mouse for example.they also have arka's comics sometimes but that was many years before now he has his own series book or making caricatures

We have one or two magazines that publish already published things (like a Bulgarian version of Jump) but I haven't seen a magazine with original manga/comics. Our newspapers don't even publish something like that.
Yes, the cheating subject does have a nostalgia factor for older people and also high schoolers would read it for the obvious reasons. But we'll see, maybe some publisher shows an interest in it and we do it first, before the other project we have in mind
