THE EVERGREEN FOREST
THE RACCOONS' HOME
Lisa (in her normal attire) came into the living room with a big black box with a pink string keeping it closed. There was a big mirror beside the sofa.
LISA: 'Anybody home? Nope, guess not. Well, I think I'm gonna try on this new bridesmaid's dress. I wanna see how it looks in the mirror.'
Lisa sat down on the sofa, placing the black box beside her. She turn crossed her right leg over her left knee and took off her pink sneaker, revealing her socked foot.
LISA: (starts rubbing her foot) 'First I'm going to rest my feet. I musta been through every shop all over the Evergreen Forest today looking for this dress.'
Her cell phone rang.
LISA: 'Oh, better answer that.'
She brought out her cell phone and answered it.
LISA: 'Hello? Oh hi, Professor Smedley-Smythe. Something wrong? You need me at the museum to fix a few things right now? Oh, can't I do it tomorrow? You need me, now. Okay. No, I understand, Professor. I'll be there as quick as I can. 'Kay, bye.'
Lisa hung up. She sighed as she put her right sneaker back onto her socked foot and tied up the laces.
LISA: 'Oh, I didn't feel like going out again. Y'know, there are days when I wish I had a different job.'
Lisa then stood up from the sofa.
LISA: 'Oh well, one more trip. Here I go.'
Lisa then stepped out of the living room and out the door, leaving it open.

LATER ON
The Chipmunks and Chipettes walked into the house, closing the already opened door behind them.
BRITTANY: 'I wonder where Lisa was going.'
ALVIN: 'Boy, she sure was running fast.'
SIMON: 'Indeed. She didn't even see us.'
Suddenly, Theodore stomach started growling.
THEODORE: (rubs his belly) 'Well I dunno about you guys, but I'm gonna make myself a sandwich. I'm hungry.'
ELEANOR: 'Me too.'
Suddenly, Brittany walked into the living room, looking at something.
BRITTANY: 'Say, what's that?'
JEANETTE: 'What's what?'
BRITTANY: 'That.'
THEODORE: (looks at the mirror) 'Um, that's a mirror, Brittany.'
BRITTANY: (sighs) 'Theodore, I know that this is a mirror. (points at the mirror, before pointing to the sofa) But what's that?'
Brittany walked over to the sofa.
ELEANOR: 'Oh. It's a box.'
Eleanor, Jeanette and the Chipmunks followed Brittany, who was still looking at the box.
BRITTANY: 'I know it's a box, but whaddaya think is in it?'
ALVIN: 'You're asking me?'
Brittany gasped.
BRITTANY: 'I bet I know.'
ALVIN: 'Oh? You have x-ray vision or something?'
Simon stomped on Alvin's foot.
ALVIN: 'Ow!'
SIMON: 'Shut it, Alvin.'
Brittany pointed to the mirror.
BRITTANY: 'Here's the mirror over there.'
Then she pointed to the box on the sofa.
BRITTANY: 'And here's the box right here.'
JEANETTE: 'Yeah.'
ELEANOR: 'So?'
BRITTANY: 'So, it must be Lisa's bridesmaid's dress.'
Then Jeanette, Eleanor and the Chipmunks caught onto what Brittany was talking about.
BRITTANY: 'I bet she was gonna try it on.'
ALVIN: 'Yeah, guess so.'
THEODORE: 'Let's go make sandwiches now, okay?'
SIMON: 'Okay, Theo. (to the girls) C'mon, girls.'
Jeanette and Eleanor followed the Chipmunks into the kitchen, but Brittany was still mesmerized by the box.
BRITTANY: 'Gosh, Lisa's so lucky. Hmm. I wonder what it looks like. What color could it be? (calls out to the others) D'ya think Lisa would mind if we peaked?'
In the kitchen, the Chipmunks and her sisters called out.
OTHERS: 'Yes!'
BRITTANY: 'Oh. Well, she probably wouldn't. This is a nice box.'
She then tugged on the string.
BRITTANY: 'Nice string too.'
Then the strings came loose.
BRITTANY: 'Gosh, the strings came loose. How'd that happen? Hmm. Well, since the box is already open... I don't think Lisa'd mind if we had just a little look. I'm sure she wouldn't.'
Just then Jeanette and Eleanor came in.
JEANETTE: 'Well, I'm sure she would.'
ELEANOR: 'Me too, Brit.'
BRITTANY: 'Then you two don't have to look. I'll just take a little peak.'
Brittany slowly opened the box a smidgen and took a peak.
BRITTANY: (gasps) 'Look!'
Then the other two Chipettes came over.
JEANETTE: 'What? What?'
ELEANOR: 'Let us see!'
They then opened the box lid all the way.
BRITTANY: 'Girls, look what you did. You opened the box, not me.'
Suddenly, Jeanette and Eleanor realized she was right.
ELEANOR: 'You-you tricked us, Brittany!'
Jeanette was already mesmerized by what was inside the box.
JEANETTE: 'Oh, but Ellie, look.'
Eleanor looked and gasped.
ELEANOR: 'Oh my gosh. It's really pretty. I've never seen anything like it.'
Jeanette turned and called to the Chipmunks still in the kitchen.
JEANETTE: (calls out) 'Hey, ya wanna see it, boys?'
In the kitchen, Simon called back.
SIMON: (calls out) 'No thanks!'
But in the kitchen, the Chipmunks couldn't help but overhear what the Chipettes said next.
ELEANOR: 'Are those diamonds on it, Jean?'
JEANETTE: 'I-I-I think so. And-and rubies.'
This made Theodore and Simon look up.
THEODORE: 'Diamonds?'
SIMON: 'And rubies?'
BRITTANY: 'Look, and pearls.'
JEANETTE/ELEANOR: 'Ooooh.'
Now it was Alvin's turn to look up.
ALVIN: 'Pearls?! Lemme see!'
Alvin then headed for the living, with Simon and Theodore following behind. In the living room, Jeanette started to pull out the dress, which was colored purple.
BRITTANY: 'Careful now. Hold it up, Jeanette.'
By the time the Chipmunks arrived, Jeanette had fully pulled out the dress.
THEODORE: 'Wow, what a dress.'
BRITTANY: 'Yeah. I wonder what it'd look like on me.'
THEODORE: 'It'd probably look big.'
ALVIN: 'Yeah, like a tent!'
Alvin started laughing at his own joke, followed by the others. But Brittany didn't laugh. She stamped her foot as she spoke.
BRITTANY: 'It would not look like a tent! I'm going to try it on!'
They all gasped when Brittany said that.
SIMON: 'Not to sound offensive or anything, but you couldn't even reach the waist, Brittany.'
BRITTANY: 'Oh yes I can. If Jeanette and Eleanor get under me and I stand on their shoulders.'
Jeanette and Eleanor gasped.
ELEANOR: 'Oh no, Brittany. You're too heavy.'
JEANETTE: 'Yeah.'
BRITTANY: 'I AM NOT! Please, Jean? Please, Ellie? If I get up on your shoulders, I'll be tall and I can see myself in the mirror.'
JEANETTE: 'Gee, I dunno, Brit.'
BRITTANY: (pleadingly) 'Pretty please with sugar on top?'
Brittany then on a puppy-dog face.
ELEANOR: 'Oh no, not the puppy-dog pout.'
But Brittany still kept on with the puppy-dog face. Both Jeanette and Eleanor sighed in defeat.
JEANETTE: 'Oh all right, Brit.'
BRITTANY: 'Yay!'
ELEANOR: 'But be careful, we don't wanna break anything.'
BRITTANY: 'Oh boy, this is gonna be fun. (to her sisters) Now, you two get under the skirt. (to the Chipmunks) And you three be our lookout.'
Jeanette and Eleanor scrambled themselves into the purple skirt.
ALVIN: 'Stupid question time - why do we have to be the lookout?'
BRITTANY: 'Cuz knowing you, Alvin, you'd find that as an excuse to look up my skirt.'
ALVIN: (gasps) 'Brittany, I am shocked to think that you'd think that.'
BRITTANY: 'Well just the same, you three can be our lookout in case something should happen. Get it?'
ALVIN: (salutes) 'Got it.'
BRITTANY: 'Good. (to her sisters) Okay, now stay right there. I'm going to get under too.'
Alvin and his brothers watched as the dress seemed to rise as Brittany made her way up the waist.
ELEANOR: (from within) 'Brittany, you're foot's in my eye!'
Finally, Brittany's head poked up from where the head goes.
BRITTANY: 'Stop moving! There, I-- Wait, hold still! I'm getting on your shoulders now. Here we go. (grunts) There!'
ELEANOR: (from within) 'Ow, you're heavy, Brittany! Hurry up!'
BRITTANY: 'Okay, stop moving around!'
JEANETTE: (from within) 'We can't help it!'
Alvin couldn't help but laugh at the scene before him and his brothers as Brittany and the dress turned away from the mirror.
BRITTANY: 'How'd that get over there?'
ELEANOR: (from within) 'Huh?'
BRITTANY: 'Oh my goodness, could you please turn around? We're facing the wrong way.'
JEANETTE: (from within) 'Where? I can't see!'
BRITTANY: 'No, no! The other way!'
Then the Chipmunks saw as Brittany and the dress carefully turned around to face the mirror.
BRITTANY: 'I see the mirror now. Oh gosh, I can't wait to see myself in it.'
Finally, Brittany saw her reflection in the mirror.
BRITTANY: 'Oh it's beautiful! It fits me perfectly, even if it is just a little big.'
Suddenly, Simon noticed that the side of the dress where Jeanette was standing was starting to tumble.
JEANETTE: (within, screams) 'Yaaah!'
BRITTANY: 'Stop moving, Jeanette!'
SIMON: 'This isn't good. They won't be able to keep their balance for much longer.'
THEODORE: 'D'ya think we oughta do something?'
ALVIN: 'You're right, Theo.'
JEANETTE: (within) 'My leg's caught! Ah! Watch my nose!'
As Alvin, Simon and Theodore stood in position to catch the Chipettes, Lisa happened to step inside.
LISA: 'That is the last trip I make today.'
Suddenly, she looked into the living room and saw what was happening.
LISA: (screams) 'AAAH! (runs in) My dress! What're ya doing? Be careful!'
THEODORE: 'I think I heard something.'
BRITTANY: (looks up) 'Oh my gosh, it's Lisa!'
Finally, Brittany lost her balance and she and her sisters found themselves falling on top of the Chipmunks with a big thud.
BRITTANY: (meakly) 'Ow.'
Then the Chipmunks and Chipettes struggled to stand up again. First all three Chipmunks managed to crawl out from under the dress while Jeanette and Eleanor managed to free themselves from the skirt, and finally Brittany stood up on her knees, still with the dress on her shoulders.
LISA: 'What... Is going on here?!'
BRITTANY: (chuckles nervously) 'Uh, hi Lisa.'
JEANETTE: 'It wasn't our idea, Lisa.'
ALVIN: 'No, no! (points) It was Brittany's.'
OTHERS: 'Yeah.'
LISA: 'Brittany?'
BRITTANY: 'Well I-- I-- (sighs in defeat) I'm sorry, Lisa. I guess I was just feeling jealous that you get to be Sophia's bridesmaid and well, one thing led to another and-- Well, I'm really, really sorry.'
LISA: 'I hope you didn't do anything to this dress.'
BRITTANY: 'Don't worry, we didn't. (to herself) I hope.'
ALVIN: 'And, uh, Lisa?'
LISA: 'Yes, Alvin?'
ALVIN: 'Um, you're-you're going to look great in this dress.'
ELEANOR: 'Yeah, much better than Brittany.'
SIMON: 'Affirmative.'
JEANETTE: 'Absolutely.'
THEODORE: 'You well.'
BRITTANY: 'Believe us.'
All six chipmunks chuckled uneasily.

SATURDAY
RACCOONDOMINIUM
Bert, Ralph and Melissa were outside, all in their best attire.
ALVIN: (from inside) 'Today is Cedric and Sophia's wedding, and here we come!'
Out stepped Alvin, Simon and Theodore, each with black tuxedos with their signature colors.
THEODORE: 'Well, whaddaya think?'
RALPH: 'You look spiffy.'
MELISSA: 'All three of you.'
SIMON: 'Thank you.'
ALVIN: 'You look fine yourself, Bert. You even combed your hair.'
BERT: 'Well, thanks, Alvin.'
ALVIN: 'Hey, c'mon out, girls!'
BRITTANY: (from inside) 'Coming, Alvie!'
Out stepped Brittany, Jeanette and Eleanor, each with white dresses with their signature colors.
BRITTANY: 'Well, how do we look?' (twirls for emphasis)
THEODORE: 'You look great, Ellie.'
SIMON: 'I concur. You look divine, Jean.'
ALVIN: 'I gotta say, you really cleaned up good, Brit.'
CHIPETTES: 'Thank you, boys.' (curtsies)
ALVIN: 'Say, what about our instruments?'
MELISSA: 'Don't worry about that. Cyril's Bears came a while ago and took them to where the wedding is set to take place.'
BERT: 'C'mon, gang. Let's head for George and Nicole's. I'm sure Bentley and Lisa are nearly ready by now.'

THE RACCOONS' HOME
Bert, Ralph, Melissa, the Chipmunks and Chipettes arrived outside the house, where they found George, Nicole and Bentley standing outside.
RALPH: 'Hey George. I see you guys are ready to go.'
GEORGE: 'You bet, little bro.'
NICOLE: 'Oui, and Lisa's almost ready.'
BENTLEY: 'Well I hope she gets out here soon, or we're gonna be late.'
BERT: (calls out) 'Hey Lisa! C'mon, are ya ready?'
LISA: (from inside) 'I'll be right there! (pause) Okay, ready or not, here I come!'
Suddenly, Lisa finally stepped outside, now in her purple bridesmaid's dress.
LISA: 'Ta-da!'
Everyone gasped, especially Bert.
BERT: 'Wow, Lisa!'
MELISSA: 'You look great, honey.'
LISA: 'Think so?'
BENTLEY: 'Absolutely.'
SIMON: (checking his watch) 'Well, since we're done preparing ourselves, I do believe we should depart from our present position and head for our destination.'
THEODORE: 'Huh?'
BRITTANY: 'Translation, Jean?'
JEANETTE: 'He said let's get going.'
BERT: 'Good idea. After all, I'm the best man, and it wouldn't be right for a best man to be late.'
LISA: 'Well okay, let's go.'
And so, with the Chipmunks and Chipettes holding arms and humming the "Bridal Chorus", the Raccoons and their new friends headed to where the wedding of Cedric Sneer and Sophia Tutu was to take place.
