I'm thinking about doing a series of warriors inspired by each of the Tarot's Major Arcana...IF I do end up making a full set then this will be the Champion of Judgment. It's the second one I've managed to do so far, the other is the sun.
I tried to incorporate and build on iconography from the original card, primarily the angel blowing a great trumpet from which hangs a (traditionally) white flag.
If you look closely you'll see that I included more apocalyptic themes, and hazy glow in the background is meant to imply a nuclear detonation and mushroom cloud.
