[EDIT 1] Finally moved out of the WIP zone. I just decided that I'm never going to have the heart to add stuff to something whose form has solidified in my mind already.[EDIT 2] PNG now! I like how it looks without the white background.
I actually started it half a year ago...and never got round to finishing it. It just so happened that I turned on the scanner today, and I remembered this pic. So I dug it up from my giant stack, and got it here.
Done in boredom. Freehand inking, no planning. 45 minutes.

Something floral, that's for sure. It's the kind of thing I'd paint on a mirror. . .ya know, if I had paints and any confidence whatsoever that I could recreate that.

Hehe, it sprang from an odd "let's draw something with a pen" moment. I'm glad it managed to come out visually symmetrical.

I love, love, love this piece, and any words I use cannot possibly describe how much it stayws with me -- the black and white, the patterns unfolding like flower petals, and the spiralling off which really makes one wonder how much more there is.

It is fine that way it is. In fact, adding stuff might just end up overdoing it. Things like that happens.
And, yup. I like finer pens as well, which makes me realize that the .5mm marker I bought was a waste since I only use the .1mm ones.
