Last few weeks were so bustling with works (and my brother's wedding, finally!), I barely find time to finish my personal artworks, the old WIPs are getting... older, I lost interest in some of them. Should I continue or just start new ones? What do you think?
I don't know if you guys may notice recently I have been studying art fundamentals (which I was too lazy before that why my artworks always feel like missing something). This time I want to take it slowly and paint things accurately. Oh I'm not attending art-school, some people have this query if art-school is really necessary - I'm just a self-taught artist but I highly recommend art-school if you have a chance, it'd save a lot of time when there's someone telling you what to do than wandering around in the darkness.
I know the progress I make is way slower than other fellow artists (oops rule number one: do not compare yourself to others, it's depressing), but I promise I won't quit! Thank you so much for all the support and stay with me in my art journey.

Honestly you're doing great -- and finding your own style now! I put down drawing and design years ago and recently picked it back up so I'm re-learning a lot all over again. The secret is to just keep going

There is definitely nothing wrong with wanting to improve yourself or your work. Heck; I'd even encourage it. But make no mistake; your talent is already undeniable.

And you can start new work! but you can take some ideas/elements from the work you lost your interest in and develop them in more interesting way~!
But i never really see anything wrong with your work, all of them are detailed and nicely done!
but i think there's always room for improvement!
Even if you take a long time in the progress what's important the most is the outcome of the piece and how you feel about it even if it took weeks to finish it. as long as you're happy with the result!
By time im pretty sure you will get what you want, we the fans are gonna keep cheering for you behind the scenes ^^!

Ah this ones cool! I got a lot of wips and sketches I am unsure about to finish. I always end up drawing something else instead. So I know what you mean XD
So if you have to pick up old works I don't know, you could redraw your old ones? See if you improved? I dunno XD
I'm currently trying to attent an Art school now XD So I gotta do some intake test works and see how far I can get. Currently making a mobile game now, or rather an impression of it XD
But when it comes to drawing I'm also an self-taught artist

That looks pretty amazing, great work!
I don't think it's necessarily bad to pick up old work and finish it to a much later time. The result can be pretty interesting.
This proves it actually quite nicely that there is nothing wrong with picking up old work.
