Description Mermaids are used to water surrounding them, but falling from the sky?

Graphite on bristol, 11"x 14"

*My digital camera totally obliterated this. I couldn't get a decent picture to save my life. I used the dodge and burn tools in Photoshop to try to get the whites white and blacks black, but it didn't really work. Sorry if it looks blotchy! Will try to get a better pic later.

Haha cute idea Beautiful rendering too, everything looks so smooth and sculpted, it's a fantastic mermaid series you're putting together! You don't tend to see many good ones, but your edsigns have nice touches, especially the tail fins and the seaweed-like hair.

wow, this is a really beautiful piece. I love the way the light comes through the clouds, and the way you worked with the shading on her body to enhance the bones etc. Good idea with the concept too!
