My heart is sad, yet rejoicing simultaneously... for my beautiful dearest Aunt Bea is spending Christmas with Jesus this year! She passed away just after midnight, in the wee hours of just barely December 21, 2023 at 97 years old. She is with my Grandpa PA (who passed when my Mom was 4 ½), her Husband Harold... & THOUSANDS of souls she touched with both her & my Uncle's ministry. God called her by name, Beatrice... & she went! She started preaching, holding tent revivals at 8 years old, & by the time she was 14 had preached in 48 of our USA states!! At age 4 she would sit in her bedroom for hours crying, weeping for those she knew who didn't know the Lord, praying for their souls. She married my Uncle Harold & they became missionaries, literally, traveling the world wide spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. My Uncle preaching in over 80 different countries during his time in the ministry, my Aunt accompanying him & ministering herself as well. She was a college graduate, majoring in Library, & she & my Uncle had 3 children together, all born overseas while they were missionaries. My heart is sad, mostly for my Mother... yet what a wonderful way to give her the ultimate Christmas gift... Jesus Himself!!! She LOVED her 'red birds' (Cardinals) more than anything else, except for perhaps Cape St. Hatteras (The lighthouse, HER lighthouse 😉) where she spent some of her youngest years, & where my Grandfather PA & his #1 Evelyn were first saved. They then moved back to Jakes Run to 'The Old Home Place' where I've spent my life living as well, & my Grandfather founded our church: Jakes Run Assembly of God.

Dogwoods were amongst her favorite flowers, & of course her Cardinals! The globe symbolizes her life, her ministry.
