This bird is the final painting in, what would be considered, my “cute" animals series. These are result of drawings I do on the side of the bath tub for my daughter during her bath time. Since I was working with some wallpaper samples on a couple of my other pieces I got the idea of using those samples in recreating the bath drawings I did for my daughter.

Glad you went with the red. I like the experimentation with the branches as negative space. Might try that again with some future work. Nice job with this SERIES, Rome
