This is the last of the really great shots from a storm about a month or so ago. There are other shots, but none are as good as this, so they probably won't be posted except as a cropped shot. This will also probably be one of the last lightning shots I post this year. Storm season is very nearly over though we may get a stray thunderstorm. It's not likely. I've had a lot of opportunities with storms this year and unfortunately have only been in the exact right place twice to capture anything decent.

I've been very busy this summer--haven't been around Da a whole lot and when I am it's to do a little commenting and a lot of fav and running. That trend will continue I think. It's just the facts of life right now I do get to look forward to a nice month long stint on jury duty in December in addition to trying to make a living. I foresee a lot of folks getting the death sentence for traffic violations should I make the jury pool!

I'm telling you all this here in the artists comments rather than a journal because I'm still pissed at DA for changing things and refuse to even try to learn their new damn system. I've probably posted my last journal with that useless rant over that very subject

I've got many other photos not storm related edited and ready to post so I'll concentrate on those after this. It will take a fair number of months to post them as I only post 1-2 pics a week. I don't feel it's right for me to post any more than that since I can't keep up with folks I watch. It might be time to pull back completely--I don't know.
