Description Manta Rescue Drone

Manta's serve as autonomous ocean rescue platforms and transports. They are deployed off shore near public recreation areas, areas with high boating activity, or are stored aboard large sea vessels to be deployed as needed. Manta's can also function as diver assist platforms providing underwater transportation. When idling Mantas float at the surface and use solar panels to generate their own power supply.

Manta's are designed specifically to function as rescue platforms. Multiple grips across the body allow stranded swimmers an easy firm hold on the unit. Each comes with a life ring that can be released on it's back. If multiple persons are in need then the unit can activate a small onboard water jet to propel it forward leaving the wings available for more people. Few bumps and protrusions show along it's top allowing it to gently rise up beneath it's target to lift them to the surface.

Each Manta comes with 2 – 6 Remora units. Remoras come equipped with suction cups on their heads which can attach to specific points on the Manta. The Remoras serve as scouts for the Manta allowing it to quickly find it's target. Recent field trials have tested the viability of Remoras being able to interface with other objects to increase their functionality. These include specially designed life vests, surf boards, wet suits, and small boats. Trials are still on going.

Might I recommend the concept that Remoras can be used to triangulate stranded people by using sonar or hydrophones in a "net" formation?

why have developers not realised that making a game out of this sort of thing would not only be awesome, but could raise money towards conservation projects. (your work is amazing by the way).
