I was walking along the beach one morning collecting some tidal treasures that wash from the ocean. Amung seaglass, shells, and stranded sea animals that ended up on the beach I also found some driftwood wash ashore that morning.
I decided to take it home and use it as a canvas. I painted a mackerel on it in acrylics.
The driftwood is only a few weeks old from when I found it wash up from a wave, and even still has some tar from an oilspill at sea on the back of it.
