getting into rainbow high reignited my passion in dolls again

rainbow high is fashion doll line that came out in 2020 (i got into their fandom this year).
in the story, they are students that attend the visual arts school called Rainbow High. each character has their own color scheme and art majors or "focuses" (think it as tracks/specific studies).

these girls are the first characters to be introduced in the show, the 1st wave of dolls to be released.

their character designs are amazing. it's a whole creative level to create a character based on a color/color palette. people say their first line is simple but they did really well considering it’s the first cast. it’s a pretty safe option before branching out to include more.

it was nice to draw the series 1 girls, i've never colored people with one full color (all green, all blue, etc.). this forced me to draw shoes and full body, which is good lol. i used alcohol markers, color pencils, and micron pens. i used glitter to enhance their bold colors ~

my personal favorites from here in terms of characters are ruby and poppy (the red and orange girls). but in terms of who i think i drew well, i drew ruby and violet pretty good. of course i enjoyed drawing all of them.

i currently own 4 dolls from rainbow high: sheryl meyers, heather grayson, lila yamamoto, and margot de perla. i have them mix and matched outfits right now ldfkg (except for margot, i just got her yesterday)

i'm waiting for the kpop band to come out in august. i'm also waiting for a boy doll that's also kpop inspired. pls mgae, for my health
also i would happily draw fanart for their next dolls in the future if they send me them for free, i'll promote it for them (PR packages like the doll youtubers, but i would just draw and picture reviews probably) but i would need a bigger following in IG lmao

overall this doll line inspires me and it's so high quality. their clothes are real fashion pieces, (some plastic shoes) but their designs are top notch. they could work on diversity, hair texture etc. but rainbow high are doing really well. they revived fashion dolls x D
