Welcoming to almost everyone he meets, Kim values the different people he meets as a sort of gaining of knowledge and wisdom. Throughout the years and his experiences in the world, he has grown to adapt to how the world currently works. Granted he is still old-fashioned in many ways, he has opened his mind to more possibilities than ever. It is inherent in him to befriend everyone, making it a point that he looks at a person's quality traits and uses that to gain favorable advantage- sometimes to a point that he ignores the bad qualities overall. He keeps himself grounded by ensuring himself a favorable spot in anything in life. As much as he seems jolly and jovial nearly all the time, to Kim, security is key to living comfortably and secondary beyond basic needs. He stays true to his words, often going at length to do things he does not normally do just to reach achievement to whatever he was tasked to do, and he is always, always insistent upon making sure the job is done. He prides himself for being hard-working, and because of that, he does his best to stand out amongst people in the least boasting way possible. His pride is there, but so is his humility and ability to give credit to where it's due. He values family above all, and those closest to him are considered as such.
Whilst being a good-natured individual, Kim knows his pranks, jokes and sarcasm, and he is fond of using them from time to time. Sometimes, it becomes too conceited and gets out of hand and he has to rectify the situation through a flurry of apologies. In some cases, Kim can be very vain, and he knows himself as someone who can bring himself up to get things to go his favour. He does not let this consume him however, but they are thoughts that often pass him, and he uses it to his advantage. When dissatisfied with something, he will also not hesitate to be frank about his thoughts and opinions- especially if they conflict with his. As someone who gets prissy over how things are done, he doesn't hesitate to question people's methods or morale if he knows it would endanger him, his acquaintances, or the job. He can also be a bit tactless with his choice of words when under too much pressure or emotion and he is someone who does not back down with his arguments, but he makes sure to do his best to hold his tongue in face of people of authority and respect. He can be very, very focused on something to the point that whatever affects it, be it a person, part of the job, or an object, it affects him as well. He is dependent on routine, so a single miscalculation can set him off in a mouthful of rants and sometimes, on very rare cases, in a panic.

SUMMARY: Kim lived a sheltered life with supporting parents whom he did not know was having problems of their own. These problems eventually continued on until one day, his mother, too young and ambitious for her own good, had called for a break from them, taking off on her own to continue her business in the fashion world. This left Kim with having to go from parent to parent. A hassling life, but his innocent mind continued thinking that if he did his best, his family would go back to normal. It was until they had officially filled for a divorce that Kim let himself finally accept that things were really shitty with their family. He was bitter, but he kept such feelings to himself, pouring everything out on keeping himself on top of the food chain at school by becoming everyone's boy-next-door; a 'perfectly' colder exterior to keep himself safe from getting affected by family matters. The pressure was strong, but it was definitely better to shoulder everything than to press on with bitter urges.
Things got better when his grandparents eventually demanded to spend more their grandchild, where they showed him the better things in life: nature, planting, fishing, all the other things that was out of his small, sociable world's scope. Wise words and time spent in something similar to a retreat from his usual life opened his mind to everyone's situation. That he be less self-centered and think about those around him that still did care about him despite circumstances, and know how to treat the people he loves as people who also had their individual feelings.
With a slightly better outlook in life, Kim took this opportunity to become a better person. Small, bitter feelings still lingered, but age and experience had made him empathize with his surroundings better. Accepting the offer to study in Crestwood, his grandparent's current home, Kim made his independence slowly by earning for his own rent with his childhood friend, taking on jobs to support himself personally whilst still accepting financial help from his parent's schooling. Things will eventually get better, he always tells himself

Having been a little sensitive to the celestial world of ghosts around him, his interest in the town's paranormal had always been there- although it had depleted a little with the years he's lived there and he'd gotten used to it, he still pursues these ghostly encounters like a cop capturing his criminal; he is just that desperate to get a real kick for something literally out of this world.▌ Additional Information : Random facts
