So as you all probably know, the second episode of Helluva Boss came out a while ago. It took me some time to give my thoughts and make this cause I'm in the middle of a move at the moment, so yeah. Chaos, chaos.

So something I've started to notice when it comes to Helluva Boss, and something I hope will happen with the official Hazbin Hotel series as well, is that now that we've had our pilot with all the introductions, setup, and world building out of the way the episodes can focus more on smaller character driven stories and it is sooooooo good.
If I have one complaint about both pilots it's that it seemed like too much had to happen in too little time. Which makes sense considering Vivzie probably wanted to show off as much as she could so it'd grab the attention of big studios so she could make a contract for an offical series. With that done we now have stories that are much more condenced and character focussed, which makes for a much better story.

Episode 2, Loo Loo Land, has officially turned Stolas into my favourite character. I love his design, backstory, voice, lore, and of course, his relationship with both Blitzo and his daugther Octavia. It amazes me that Vivzie and her crew can take a character that was basically just a one note joke and actually flesh him out and give him layers. It's really good.
