this speed-paint was done as a demonstration in one of the classes in the course on painting techniques at quanta, in 2008. it was made with acrylics over paper; i used only red, blue, yellow, white and black tints.how i miss those classes and my pupils!

hey this is a strong rendering . . . i'm really surprised it was speed-paint

it was done in twelve minutes. when one gives classes they must be fast in presenting something with a minimum of quality in due time for explanations and answering questions before going to the hard theoretical stuff.
i used to do three or four of these per class - most of them i gave out to the students. some i really liked (like this one) i kept.
