I'm wondering in the movie could the Jaegers actually do this? I mean if Gypsy can pick up and throw a Kaiju away I'm sure one could help the other. That aside very good art :3

Honestly, I'm glad that the last battle was Striker and Gipsy is going in there.
I felt like these two Jaeger designs made them compatible and visually having
a strong chemistry bond with each other. Although, I really though Crimson and
Cherno survived somehow. So four Jaegers going to this mission. SO
FUCKING AWESOME!!! But I can't say it sucked that it didn't happen.
Cause it's still awesome as HEAVEN! MECHA AND KAIJU OTAKU HEAVEN!!

Ship (the transportation) technicalities aside, Striker definitely does look more male than Gipsy. I'd probably call Striker a he, too.

Technically yes but reading the notes on the designs in the artbook "Pacific Rim: Man, Machines, and Monsters" del Toro and the artists comment on Striker: "Striker is like a bodybuilder in a way" says del Toro. "He has very sharp edges and is very arrogant, with huge shoulder pads... You want him on your side in a fight, but he's not a clean fighter"
Animation Supervisor Hal Hickel calls Striker "the football jock of Jaegers"
Now that all sounds very masculine. On the other hand, Robert Kazinsky, the actor for Chuck Hansen, has called Striker Eureka a "she" in the way machines are generally referred to as females as it sounded like. But really, they can be anything. They have no genders but I'm stuck with thinking of them like this.

squeeEeEeee!! Yes I LOVE this ship more and more by the second and I'm working on more art with them. Well, all the Jaegers actually for this next one so we'll see another in the next few days. But thanks, I'm glad you noticed those little things. I watched Pacific Rim three times, and Gipsy Danger looks pretty feminine already.

Including Gipsy, all the women in this movie are TOUGH 0.0 I mean have you seen Sasha? Dang! That's one hardcore woman.
I can just imagine Striker saying that line in an Australian accent <3
I have yet to wonder . . . do we share some headcannons?
Gipsy Danger (Mark 3) My hand cannon is that it's a she. I know machines are often referred to as shes, but she was the only one directly referred to as one during the movie. My head cannon is that she's an experienced Jaeger who is a mixture between old fashioned ways and new tech. She appears a bit masculine, but she rocks dem hips. I'd imagine her voice actress to have a deep yet feminine voice, that sounds capable, similar to Commander Shepherd in Mass Effect, but not quite. Probably more formal and having a smoother sound to it. (I'd imagine she's also Tailgate's mother XD You can't deny that they look alot alike)
Cherno Alpha (Mark 1) I'd imagine him with a deep Russian accent, with a bit of a gravelly texture. He taught Gipsy to have an appreciation for the good old fashion ways. He's tough as nails and resilient, doesn't complain. While fighting a Kaiju I can imagine him saying "Das vee danya suka!" ( The last word was an insult in Russian, the first was "Good bye") His fighting style is brutish , loving to wrestle and putting Kaijus into headlocks.
Striker Eureka (Mark 5) He must have an Australian accent and he rocks dem thighs as well as being the fastest Jaeger of them all . He thinks that Gipsy is a stubborn woman that holds more experience below her belt than he ever will, even despite his superior frame work. However he has a lot of respect for her as a comrade and is even developing feelings for her. He is the shiny rising star among the Jaegers, the least experienced, but also the most advanced. But undeniably cocky and a raging brat at times.
Crimson Typhoon (Mark 4) He has a Chinese accent and loves hand to hand combat. He is especially skilled at keeping down multiple opponents at once and getting enough time for himself to find a weak spot. He's kind of the braniac of family with quicker reflexes than most. Unlike Cherno Alpha his fighting style is fluid and graceful, whilst Cherno performs brutish wrestling with moves like headlocks.
Coyote Tango (Mark 1) Has a Japanese accent. He and Cherno were old war buddies. Knew each other well and kept in touch despite despite been stationed all over the world. Did well to hold his ground and let whatever Kaiju he was fighting lose some steam before going in for the killing blow.

Damn right they're all tough. Now Sasha. Wow, that freakin' lady carried such a deep commanding, glorious presence in her short screen time.
And yes, Striker's Australian accent I could definitely hear too. It feels like the Jaegers would adopt whatever languages and dialects their pilots use. Gipsy would get Yancy and Raleigh's American dialects and most likely would speak Japanese well too since Mako's been resotring her and piloting. There'd be no reason for the Kaidanovskies to use English with each other in their Jaeger so Cherno would have this heavy Russian accent. Crimson I suspect Chinese and Coyote Tango, although a Japanese Jaeger, might adopt Pentecost's dialect? That one's a little tougher.
So goddamn right we share a lot of them.
Gipsy Danger. Yes, yes, yes and yes on her voice too. I've heard about Commander Shepherd and just finished listening to some on YouTube, that'd be a great voice for her. She is an older model but her launch date was 2017, Striker's was 2019, just two years later. But damn, they made Striker so much more advanced so quickly. But she also underwent major reconstruction under Mako, so she's back in with new technology too. About her experience, it's hard to pin that up again Striker Eureka's when we're talking time in
service. He does have more Kaiju kills but she has a skillset and pilots that bring her aces high that went into saving his ass and killing 2 Kaiju in one night. So yeah, years of experience would go to Striker Eureka since Gip has been out of service for 5 years, skill would go to Gipsy. And I can see her having this deep protective sense towards her pilots.
Cherno Alpha, absolutely. Hmm, brutish fighting style. Almost like Strika Eureka who bring in the new brawling forms. They have that much in common. And whatever feelings are going on between anyone in the group, Cherno knows what's really
going on before they do. Gipsy would indeed have this repect for him and eagerness to learn from him and I can imagine he'd also have a fondness for her. He shares the deepest bond with his pilots, particularly Sasha maybe who has more influence on him.
Striker Eureka. Egotistical jerk all the way and not good at saying thank you or please or help. But he'll charge in to help his fellow Jaegers without a moment's hesitation regardless of orders. Towards Gipsy there is that rivalry but also
admiration. They first met when they aided Horizon Brave in stopping a category 4 in Manila. Then she was more experienced and he probably saw her as a rival from the start. But since her destruction, he kept killing kaiju. But even now, well, she's one of a kind and meeting his combat level, occasionally besting him while he's the most advanced Jaeger so there'd be some tension there along that admiration and developing these stronger feelings. (which he probably doesn't understand). I would think she'd be the better fighter but he lost to Leatherback due to the EMP blast so we don't know. Her advantage there was her nuclear heart, not combat skill. And towards his pilots, most influenced by Chuck and I can hear him calling Marshall Hansen "old man" letting that slip out every now and then.
Now our lovely Mark 4, Crimson Typhoon! Despite him/her being a Mark 4, he's got the graceful movements our Mark 5 couldn't match. Double jointed legs, quadruple neural processor (counting him in the drift) he's definitely smart, quick, and dangerous like his shady Triplet pilots for whom I'm certain he has a brotherly affection towards. One more thing, *whispers* I ship him/her with Coyote Tango. He'd probably assume Typhoon has nothing to do with an old Mark-1 like him, but there definitely admiration going on both ways and a little more.
Coyote Tango, like Marshall Pentecost's authority among the pilots, probably holds the boss title among the Jaegers. I'm not certain about his voice. Being a Japanese Jaeger he may have a Japanese accent but his pilots, Pentecost and Tamsin Sevier were British so... I'm not sure. Maybe a bit of an accent. And yeah, he and Cherno would be firm friends but Cherno is more content with being in his team than leading it. And if Tango had to pick, Gipsy would be his second. He always knew she was meant for leadership even when Striker Eureka was called in to be the top gun. So he probably is most strict with her among the Jaegers and there are times when that's stressful and she'd get rebellious. And that's when Cherno comes in to help her out. Tango's not actively fighting but can he kick Kaiju ass? Yeah he can and let's hope no one challenges him to do it again 'cos it will get ugly.
