Very interesting, it reminds me of some other things too although it does look a lot like a mechanical watch. It vaguely reminds me of navigation charts and equipment or star charts.

This has gotta be THE coolest fractal I've ever seen. It's rare that I ever see someone render their fractal with a background other than black, and this really works here. It reminds me of really old cartography.
