I was standing on a hill watching the sunset over Canberra and taking some shots suddenly my best mate Stefan came up with an idea taking a picture which looks like the Sky of Mordor in J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth. Thats it!Related content

Why is there so much noise? Not quite typical for your photos.

first of all the picture was captured using iso800 and due to some contrast enhancements the noise is clearly visible. it was hardly avoidable :/
